• Import from Outlook and external Files - With the click of a toolbar button, SMS Text Manager will import all your Outlook and Outlook Express contacts, so you can literally send to your contacts immediately after installation. You can import contact information from external files - such as MS Excel, comma separated or Tab delimited files. SMS Text Manager provides you with 5 custom fields per user. These fields can store additional information, which can then be used in addition to the standard fields to send personalized messages, just like mail merge.
• Personalized Messages- You can create a single message which contains merge fields to personalize the message for multiple recipients when it is broadcast. This makes it possible to send a unique message to each person in your distribution list, and it works very well with the import contact features. One common use would be to send a message to each of your debtors, telling them how much they owe you and when the money is due. What's more, you can compose your message, select the recipients, then preview the message before sending. This way you know precisely what the contact will receive.
  
  The composed SMS message might look like this;
  Dear {Display Name}, please pay your outstanding 60 day balance {60dayBalance} by {DueDate}
  
  And the users will receive the completed message;
  Dear Mr. Smith, please pay your outstanding 60 day balance of £2376.99 by 01 December.
  Dear Mrs. Jones, please pay your outstanding 60 day balance of £987.00 by 31 December.
• Detailed Reporting - Every message that is sent is tracked through the network, and the message status is sent back to your SMS Text Manager, so you get confirmed acknowledgement when the message has been delivered to the mobile device. When sending a single message to multiple recipients, you simple double click the message of interest to see the delivery status of each recipient.
• Remind Me Feature - This handy feature allows you to schedule a reminder for yourself at the click of a button. The reminder message is then delivered to your phone at the scheduled date and time.
• Low cost per message - Our cost per message credit is substantially lower than those of many mobile operators or service providers.
• Text to fixed line phones - You can enter fixed line phone numbers for contacts with a voiced message service. Great for including those who don't have a mobile into a Contact Group.
